How does a place belong?

Lǐ observes the relationship between a property and the living systems, people, resources and place around it. It is not a certification score. It is a record of coherence, evidence and change.

Lǐ takes its name in part from 理 (lǐ): pattern, principle and the intelligible order within things. It is a Biospheric instrument, not a claim of philosophical equivalence.

A first snapshot is allowed to be incomplete. Improvement is the point. Solar cannot cancel a ruined reef.
